What is Carbon Trust Accreditation?
Carbon Trust Accreditation is a mark of excellence, supporting organisations that are actively working to measure, manage, and reduce their carbon emissions. It is a globally recognised certification confirming that our green electricity products are 100% renewable; meaning you can trust that all of our renewable electricity has been generated entirely by clean energy sources (such as hydro, solar, or wind).

The Carbon Trust has ongoing monitoring guarantees that all of our energy is certified to be from clean sources, throughout the entirety of your renewable contract with us. When choosing our renewable products, you’ll also receive a renewable commitment certificate issued alongside your tree planting commitment certificate and net zero badge. These items can be used in your own business advertisements and marketing, showcasing your dedication to a decarbonised future.
Additionally, this means that your business can rest assured knowing that you can report zero carbon emissions emitted for purchased electricity in accordance with the GHG Protocol Scope 2 Guidance. Or in simple terms, it’s a big step on your journey to net zero.
