Climate Action Project – Wildflowers, Wetlands & Wildlife
The UK’s biodiversity offers invaluable benefits, including picturesque landscapes, unique wildlife, clean air, and water, along with habitats that naturally sequester carbon to mitigate climate change. However, biodiversity in the UK is under severe threat, with 50% of its biodiversity already lost. In this article, we’ll explore the important role the Wildflowers, Wetlands and Wildlife project plays in creating and restoring habitats for plants and animals above the ground, as well as how restoration work is vital to keep soils healthy.
