Through our Tree Planting Scheme and Climate Action Calendar, we’re excited to drive meaningful change by supporting positive climate action projects that tackle carbon emissions and promote sustainability.
Taking positive climate action
At SmartestEnergy Business, we're dedicated to making a positive impact on the planet. To further our commitment to environmental sustainability, we’ve partnered with Ecologi, taking our efforts to the next level. This partnership allows us to contribute to global reforestation projects and carbon offset initiatives, making a tangible difference.
We’re also championing the transition to renewable energy and adopting a more proactive stance in addressing climate change. As part of our Tree Planting Scheme, through Ecologi, we plant 10 trees in our Global Impact Forest for every 100% renewable energy customer who joins or renews.
Additionally, in January 2024, we launched our Climate Action Calendar, which highlights and supports a different positive climate action project each month, from renewable energy and community empowerment to blue carbon restoration and reforestation. These projects focus on reducing, removing, or avoiding carbon emissions while promoting environmental sustainability.
